TIPO Releases Trademark Application Trends Analysis
The Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) has released its “Analysis of Industrial Trends of Trademark Applications (2020–2024)” for public reference. The report draws on Taiwan’s trademark application and registration data over the past five years, applying data cleansing, conversion, classification integration, and mining techniques to identify industry trends and potential developments.
It incorporates comparative analysis with the World Intellectual Property Indicators 2025 report issued by WIPO. The publication aims to support industrial planning, brand development, and market trend analysis by highlighting shifts in filing patterns across sectors.
TIPO encourages stakeholders to utilize the resource for informed decision-making in brand strategy and IP management. The report is available through TIPO’s official channels, including an info section on trend analysis in Traditional Chinese.
This national IP office output provides broad reference value for businesses and practitioners monitoring trademark activity in Taiwan relative to worldwide developments.
