Stride Awarded $1.3M Sanctions in Trademark Dispute

The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida awarded Stride Inc. $1,311,959.10 in attorneys' fees and costs on July 14, 2026. The sanctions followed findings of bad-faith litigation conduct by the opposing party and counsel in the long-running trademark infringement and false advertising dispute.

The award includes $910,919.26 in fees and $401,039.84 in costs. It marks the latest development in a case that previously resulted in a complete trial victory for Stride in 2023 and an Eleventh Circuit affirmance earlier this year.
