New Bath Today Sues Rival Over Remodeling Service Marks

Sagehome Brands, LLC d/b/a New Bath Today filed a complaint on October 13, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against New Bath, LLC of Oswego, Illinois.

The suit alleges infringement of U.S. Trademark Registration Nos. 5,999,920 and 5,999,921 covering bathroom and kitchen remodeling services, along with related trade dress and domain name claims involving newbathllc.com.

According to the complaint, the defendant continued advertising and offering competing remodeling services under similar branding after receiving a cease-and-desist letter that also demanded transfer of the domain.

The case is one of several recent federal court filings involving direct competitors in the home improvement sector and centers on likelihood of confusion among consumers seeking bathroom remodeling services.
