Door County Pizza Restaurants Settle Trademark Suit
A trademark infringement lawsuit between two Door County, Wisconsin, pizza restaurants has been settled through mediation, according to court records filed on June 16, 2026. Wild Tomato Pizza had sued Wild Man Pizza and Barbecue, alleging that the latter's name and logo were too similar to its own marks.
The court document states that mediation resulted in resolution of the plaintiff's claims, with the parties expecting to file a stipulation of dismissal within 45 days. No further details of the settlement terms were disclosed.
The case had drawn local attention after a viral TikTok video highlighted the dispute over the shared use of the word "wild" in the restaurant names.
