Delhi High Court Extends Beer Trademark Injunction

The Delhi High Court extended an interim injunction in favor of Inbrew Beverages Private Limited against Kinjore Brewery Private Limited and another defendant in a trademark dispute over the THUNDER 15000 mark for beer.

The court found continued likelihood of confusion from the defendants’ importation and sale of competing beer products bearing similar branding.

The extension maintains restrictions on the defendants’ activities pending full trial.

THUNDER 15000 is a registered mark used on alcoholic beverages in India, where beer trademark disputes frequently involve imported products.
