Delhi Court Permanently Bans Ayurland Trademark Use

17 June 2026

A commercial court in Delhi has permanently restrained Teamex Retail Limited and its directors from using the trademark Ayurland or any similar mark in connection with Ayurvedic products. The court also awarded ₹2 lakh in damages to the plaintiff, Three-N-Products Private Limited, which owns prior rights in a similar mark for comparable goods.

The ruling followed findings that the defendants' use created a likelihood of confusion among consumers. The decision emphasizes the protection of established trademark rights in the Indian market for health and wellness products.

The case involved allegations of infringement through sales and marketing activities that overlapped with the plaintiff's long-standing registrations and use.
